What is Telepsychiatry?
Simply put it is virtual psychiatric care where quality and convenience of care is matched. Telepsychiatry has been around for years and is rapidly growing. Telepsychiatry is an excellent option if you suffer from disorders such as Anxiety, Depression and ADHD. Telepsychiatry is likely not an appropriate option of you are suffering from psychotic disorders/schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, have active substance abuse/addiction problems and active self-harm. Initial Consultation
During our first appointment, I will gather history, evaluate symptoms and formulate a diagnosis. Together we will develop a treatment plan. If medication is indicated, I will explain why a medication is being prescribed, potential side effects and risks/benefits of the treatment.
Follow ups
These sessions take place after the initial visit to help evaluate and monitor your progress, track improvement of symptoms, establish new goals, and discuss any side effects or questions you may have about your treatment. In order to custom tailor your treatment plan, you may require frequent visits, especially during the first couple of months.
Insurance and Rates
I’m more than happy to see clients who are covered by insurance and/or who would prefer to pay out of pocket. I’m currently in-network with the following insurance plans:
-
Optum (not all plans)
-

What if you do not take my insurance?
That’s okay! If you would like to see me even though I do not take your insurance, I can provide receipts that you can submit to your insurance provider. If the services are accepted by your insurance, they would then reimburse you at their out-of-network rate.
What are the service rates?
Out of pocket rates are $200 for an initial assessment and $100 per follow-up visit, credit card only.
Cancellation Policy
Please note that a late cancellation (less than 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time) or appointment no-shows will be subject to a $75 cancellation fee. It is understandable that some late cancellations may be unavoidable due to special circumstances. In these cases, the cancellation fee may be waived as a one-time courtesy.
Ancillary Services
Please note that there will be a flat fee charge of $50 for any ancillary services, such as form completion or letter drafting, that require more than 5 minutes additional administrative time outside of appointments.
